Our service technicians will visit the site once a month to remove waste water, clean the inside / outside of the tank and refresh it with new detergent.

We remove this wastewater off-site and transfer it to our green partners who use this in the production of BioFuel.

Often our customers think they have no space for one of our tanks. But our tanks are located in many different places in and outside premises. We have yet to not find a space for our tanks. These are standalone units and only require a standard 3 pin plug. No plumbing required. They roll in under countertops also!

Ideally they would be located as close to the cleaning area as possible for ease of use. But we have tanks in many different locations, our Engineer will help locate a space in your premises.

Where does the dirty water in my Soak Tank go?

We take it away. As part of our service one of our Technicians will come once a month and remove the dirty water, refill with clean water and detergent.

What does Soaktech do with the dirty water?

Soaktech has the water taken away by our Green Partners and sustainably used to be turned into BioFuel.

Do I need to buy detergent?

No, once a month during your service our Technician will replace it.

Does a Soak Tank use much electricity?

Not at all! All Soaktech Soak Tanks use a 1.2 KW element. Our soak tanks are fully insulated and double skinned meaning during a normal day of use a tank will only use energy approximately 3 out of every 24 hour period. Much cheaper than traditional methods of cleaning.

Do I need a Soak Tank?

Yes if you are constantly struggling to keep your kitchen clean and need a a carbon and grease removal solution.

What can I put into a Soak Tank?

Yes, a Soaktech Soak Tank is HACCP compliant which means they are safe to store in a kitchen. Environmental Health Office Inspections have highlighted vast improvements in our customers kitchen hygiene since the implementation of our Soaktech tanks.

How long does a Soak Tank take to clean?

Times can vary depending on how greasy / baked on the equipment is. Soak times range from 20 mins to 12 hours. Soaking time will reduce the more you use your Soak Tank as the build-up is not as bad.
